NEW DIVISION TOTS โ The focus for this age group will be on sharing the ball and having fun. We do not expect kids at this age to play the whole time, so we will require a parent to remain at the field and kids can come on and off as they choose. It will be a shortened evening to give parents time to watch older kids as well.
ATOMS AND SENIORS will no longer be co-ed. There will be a girlsโ field and a boysโ
field in each division.

WHY THESE CHANGES?
Every year, we have parents asking if their 2-year-olds and grade 6 kids can play. This restructuring allows those kids to participate and also adjusts the ages in each division in a way we hope will facilitate better gameplay.
There is a difference in strength and speed between most growing boys and girls. The boys tend to play a more physical game as they get older. Splitting the upper divisions should make it more enjoyable for all.
FIELD ASSIGNMENTS AND TEAMS: Your child will be assigned to a field in their division. Coaches on each field will divide kids into 2 teams each week as they see fit, with having fun and learning skills as the first priorities. Teams will be different each week, but your child will be on the same field for the entire season. We use pinnies to differentiate teams โ they are washed each week.
VOLUNTEERS: Many volunteers are required to make the season run smoothly. To volunteer as a coach, assistant coach or referee, or to help with snack, concessions, or set-up and tear-down, email the convenor at corina@thecreek.ca. All volunteers 18 years and over will complete a vulnerable sector check. Volunteers have early access to registration for their family.

Registration is first come-first served in each division, and is dependent on the number of volunteers we have. A waiting list is kept and spots filled as they become available.
Fees per family are as follows:
One child: $25; Two Children: $45; Three children: $65;
Four Children: $80; Five Children: $95; Six Children: $110
*Volunteers who sign up prior to registration opening are guaranteed a spot for their children.
