Our Values

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Purpose

Cedar Creek exists to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus.

Mission

At Cedar Creek, we are on a mission to invite people to know Jesus, fully follow Him, and join His mission.

Vision

To see each person of Cedar Creek being formed by the Holy Spirit, encouraging each other in intentional discipleship, and sending one another into the community and the world with the Great News of Jesus.

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • The Bible

We believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God, that the 66 books of the Bible, as originally written were verbally inspired by the Spirit of God and were entirely free from error. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice and the true basis of Christian union.

  • God

We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, sovereign, existing in three equal Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus Christ

We believe in the absolute and essential deity of Jesus Christ, in His eternal existence, His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, mediatorial ministry, and personal return.

  • Satan

We believe that Satan exists as an evil personality, the originator of sin, and the arch enemy of God and humanity.

  • People

We believe that humanity was created by God in the image of God; that they sinned, becoming guilty before God, resulting in total depravity, thereby incurring physical and spiritual death.

  • Salvation

We believe that salvation is by the sovereign, electing grace of God. That by the appointment of the Father, Christ voluntarily suffered a substitutionary death with His shed blood on our behalf. That salvation is by faith alone in the all-sufficient sacrifice and resurrection of the Lord Jesus and that by receiving the free gift of salvation, that person shall be divinely preserved and finally perfected in the image of the Lord.

  • Ordinances

We believe there are two ordinances of the church, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, as regularly observed in the New Testament.
