Guiding Our Kids Through a Digital World

It’s common knowledge today that Generation Z and Alpha are digital natives. They’ve grown up with access to the internet, social media, iPads, smartphones, and much more. How are these elements of the digital world forming the next generations as people, their mental health, behaviour, or even their discipleship to Jesus? What sort of tech boundaries should I have in place for my kid/teen? What are the signs of smartphone addiction?

March 2023’s “Raising Exiles” night focused in on how parents or other care givers can best support and care for the digital generation. To speak on this issue, we had Paul Robertson join us! Paul has worked with Youth Unlimited/YFC for 40+ years, has parented, and is now a grandparent who loves the next generation. Paul has most recently shifted his focus to understanding youth culture and how technology impacts and forms us as human beings.
