Cedar Creek Community Church has a team of believers that love to Worship and Praise our living God with the talents we have been blessed with. There are many scriptures in the Bible that refer to why God needs our praise and why we need to praise him. We hope this page will bring meaning back to your personal worship time and also allow more understanding of corporate worship together.
Worship is not only meant for Sunday mornings as we gather together but also can encourage and strengthen our hearts during our personal devotional time. This resource is here to give you access to some of the new worship music that we will be introducing to the congregation but we encourage you to take the time to really listen to the lyrics and find the joy and comfort that music brings. If you have any questions or interest in joining Cedar Creek worship team please contact rachel.lima@sympatico.ca
Ever notice how easy it is to recall the words of songs you haven’t heard for 20 years? We store literally hundreds, even thousands of songs in our memory vaults. Music has an unusual mnemonic power. We remember patterns in music much better than patterns in words alone. Rhyme, meter and song are the most powerful mnemonic devices. They govern and restrict the way we say words and the time it takes to say them. Notice in Deuteronomy 31 that God uses music to help his people remember his words”.

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100

A Revelation. Worthy is our God.

Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “ ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’who was, and is, and is to come.” 9Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: 11“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:8-11
